Patients of all ages can benefit from an eHealth record

The health needs of babies and retirees couldn’t be more different but they do have one thing in common: the immediate benefits from having an eHealth record.

Both groups of patients are being targeted and signed up for their eHealth record at Victoria’s East Geelong Medical Centre by Practice Nurse Tracey Wilson and her nursing colleagues.

Bundeena practice wasn't IT savvy

A Bundeena NSW practice wasn’t deterred by lack of IT savvy when it made the move to the eHealth records system.  

Initially motivated by the PIP (Practice Incentive Payment) to move with the times, Practice nurse Alison Pritchard says she had minimal experience in health IT when she and GP Dr Jilian Nichols started creating eHealth records 18 months ago.
