Clarification to AFR Article 6 March 2006
NEHTA has provided the following clarification in relation to some of the issues raised in the the Australian Financial Review article of 6 March 2006 titled Funding issue plagues e-health.- NEHTA's E-Health Vendor Executive Seminar will be held on 27 March 2006. This Seminar has been developed in conjunction with the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and the Medical Software Industry Association (MSIA). The event is open to CEOs and senior executives from all e-health vendor organisations, although numbers will be strictly limited on a first-in, first-served basis.
The Seminar will provide an opportunity to hear from NEHTA on progress across its entire work program. In addition, focus sessions will be held on key NEHTA issues of interest to AIIA and MSIA members. Seminar registration information will be available this week, and will be sent to all who have expressed their interest in attending through either this website, the AIIA or the MSIA.
- NEHTA's Standards Plan document will be released prior to this date, for feedback. It will be published through this website - keep an eye on the NEHTA Newsfeed, or subscribe to the Newsfeed by clicking on the bookmark icon in the lower right hand corner of the address bar.
- NEHTA will announce all events at which it will be presenting information. There is no "working group" planned for April.
