Test Laboratories
The National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredits laboratories to test software for conformance to eHealth Specifications. Test laboratories that have accreditation to perform eHealth testing are listed on the NATA website (www.nata.com.au), and can be found by going to the ‘Facilities List by Field’ page under the ‘Facilities and Labs’ navigation tab. From here you will need to select ‘Information Technology’ then ‘Healthcare Tests’ links. To identify which specific type of eHealth testing a laboratory is accredited for, select a laboratory and then click on ‘View detailed Scope’. The scope is then listed under ‘22.40 Healthcare tests’ and may include ‘.01 Secure Message Delivery’, ‘.02 Healthcare Identifiers’ or both.
